About us...

I saw this on a friends blog and thought it would be cute to fill out so here it is:

1)WHERE DID YOU MEET YOUR HUSBAND? Well apprently my Aunt Lea w as planning this for years. when i went to school in Illinois her and my mom and my family and cousin came to pick us up and while Jake was on his mission she wrote him that he should come home and date one of her neices she was picking up. She is always looking out for me :) My sister and my cousins girlfriend gave him my number and a picture on my birthday dec. 30th then through january. He would call me to hang out but i would be in snowflake and he would be in mesa, so it didn't work for a while, but finally Feb. 16th my Aunt Lea convinced me to give him a call...and i have to admit it was the best call i have ever made :)

2) WHERE WAS YOUR FIRST DATE? Honestly...we didn't really go on dates. he would pay for everything but we would hang out or go to movies or something. One of my Favorite dates I lived in the valley and he lived in snowflake, so one weds. night we met in payson and had dinner. i thought that was cute.

3) WHERE WAS YOUR FIRST KISS? haha...out side my sisters house. I had to lay it on him because he was a slow mover!

4) HOW LONG DID YOU DATE? From March 2007 too the end of June 2007.

5) DID YOU HAVE A LONG OR SHORT ENGAGEMENT? well Depends on who you ask. we were engaged for about 2 months.


6)WHERE DID YOU GET ENGAGED? This is my favorite story :) He went to texas with my family on a trip. EVERYONE knew a bout it but me. My mom had my ring in her carry on case and they were trying to get between me and my mom so i wouldn't figure it out. Then one night we were heading down to the beach in Port Aransas, Tx...and everyone was going back home and just ditching out on us I was getting mad because i wanted to go to sleep...I figured if he was going to ask me he would have already asked me so i had given up all hope. But he just kept urging me to keep going so we went down in the water and were "looking for my family" then all the sudden he whipped out this white box with a beautiful ring in it. It was so fantastic. That's why our invitation was on the beach. that was the beach he proposed to me on :) it was so fantastic.

7) WHERE WERE YOU MARRIED? Snowflake, ARizona Temple August 25 2007

8)HOW DID THE RECEPTION GO? Really really well. The buidling was PACKED apprently he knew one half of snowflake and i knew the other. it was really a great time.

9) HOW WAS THE HONEYMOON? It was great. Jake's really good friend paid for all of it and we just went to California and hung out. It was a lot of fun. It was great to have that time to our selves.

I am VERY lucky to have married Jake. he thinks he is the lucky one, but he doesn't even know. I love him so much and can't wait to see what is in store for us.
