Jake's Birthday

So Friday June 20th was Jake's birthday. We decided to go down to the valley and float down salt river. I have all friday's off so, Jake took friday off too. So we woke up to a lazy morning which was great. It was Jake's day so he wanted to go hit a few golf balls on the driving range. there are no pictures of me because i couldn't hit even the ground! Jake did great i was VERY impressed.






Then that night we went to Texas Road house for birthday dinner and the waitress totally ruined the surprise of the saddle ride. i wanted it to be a surprise but apprently she didn't get that memo.



Then on saturday we floated down salt river i didn't take my cam i was nervous i was going to drop it in the water. which with my luck would happen. We had a herd of tubes and people, Kodi, lindsey, Bethany, Kaleb, Chelsea, Marissa and 2 family friends all tied our tubes together with all 4 ice chests in the middle. We had a blast and got sunburnt, but it was very very worth it. Then we went and ate at Serrano's Then that night we had a huge halo online game, which was so much fun that Jake and I had to come home and get xbox live so we can rock everyone on line now. It was a great weekend and both our families made it even better. Cody and Logan have convinced Jake he needed a new gun, so for his birthday he got a Mosquito Sig. (i have also told cody and logan they are bad for my marriage :) ) The gun is quite sweet though and now i want one for myself.






here are 24 reasons why i love jake so much. (there is plenty more, but since he is 24 i thiought it would be fitting, plus my fingers get really tired)





1. Jake is so handy around the house and can fix anything in a heart beat.

2. Jake is VERY VERY smart with money and math. Two things i need to work on :)

3. Jake hardly ever gets mad at me. Just frustrated.

4. When i am grumpy Jake just laughs at me and gets me laughing which usually helps me get ungrumpy.

5. He is very good at Halo which drives me crazy! I wanna win once in a while.

6. He is a great listener when I am venting.

7. Jake gives great advice.

8. I have only been right once in an argument since we have been married. he is ALWAYS right.

9. Jake would rather go to work then take a day off.

10. Jake has the nicest hairy chest i've ever seen in my life:)

11. Jake is the one that does all the outside work, i help, but i would rather clean the house.

12. Jake is a better cook then I am.

13. Even when i burn or make something wrong, Jake will still eat it.

14. Jake is amazing at shooting a gun.

15. Like I said earlier, jake can hit a golf ball really well.

16. He is okay with all my soda and sugar intake and will even go on a sugar run for me :)

17. Jake could care less if i gained a million lbs from all the sugar and soda i eat/drink

18. Jake loves me with long hair.

19. Jake knows so much about the church and scriptures, i ask him a question and he spouts off all this information plus a little more with scripture references.

20. He is always looking out for me, and stands up for me even when he doesn't have too.

21. He is okay with my OCD about things.

22. He makes me laugh so hard all the time.

23. one of my favorite things about jake is that he lets me jump all over him and he doesn't even mind most of the time.

24. Jake is the best husband I could ever ask for.


I love jake so much and I am so thankful for him in my life.
