This last Weds. there was a CrAzY storm. I left Holbrook, Arizona at 4:55 PM when i pulled into Snowflake at 5:20 PM (yes a little fast, but when you have to drive to holbrook every day you would know that 75+MPH is the speed limit) the hail coming down was as big as quarters! it was amazing. I called Jake right when I pulled into town FREAKING out. "Jake come get me, I'm pulling over" Jake "Molly, your fine just be careful slow down and you can make it home" Needless to say, I hydroplaned the whole way home and kept saying "you can do this, you can do this" i was so scared! The worst part was that I had a Hensley's soda for my mom (once again if you worked in Holbrook you would know that HENSLEY has the best fountain soda's this side of I40) because she had been home sick, but i was to scared to take it to her, i didn't want to get stuck not at my own hose.. We came home to two puppies hiding under one of our little shrubs in the back yard.
this is our front porch, and yes water is all the way up to our front door.
Our back yard getting flooded, this was the shrub the poor puppies were hiding under.
more of the front yard...
Callie watching the rain, she was way to scared to go outside with all the rain and thunder
This is Uzie (oozie) Kaleb and Chelsie's puppy. she is 6 mths older i think then callie, she comes and plays with callie during the day. She was bummed she was stuck at our house during the storm.
needless to say, it was a great storm. i love monsoon season...
