We have had a few things going on lately. Mr. J had a birthday and turned 27! freakin old man. And he wanted a predator caller for his man hunting he does. He didn't want to do much just had dinner with my parents for fathers day and J's birthday. Then we had a cook out at our house with his family on his birthday.
Onto some not so happy news.
We had to put our cute little Nova down. We went to California for the weekend and got back that following Sunday and she was having a hard time breathing. Since her wreck we figured she was just having a hard time with all the storms. She usually can tell when a storm is brewing because of the arthritis in her leg that was broken in her wreck. The later it got on Sunday the worse she got, So we called Dr. Cody over to take a look at her and he wasn't sure what was wrong and told us to bring her in the next day. The next day she wasn't better or worse so we decided to take her in and see what was up. Dr Cody took a few x rays on her and saw a bunch of strange spots on her lungs and consulted with Dr. Despain. They both couldn't figure out what it was but by the time they took her back to get xrays she was hardly breathing at all and needing oxygen. So we made the decision to put her down realizing she has already been through so much and didn't need too be put through anything else in her life. It was very bittersweet but I know it was the right decision. I still miss her like crazy and catch myself looking for her. I know she isn't hurting at all anymore and that is nice to know. It was nice to have Cody there as well. Poor guy didn't know what to do with an emotional prego lady! I felt bad it was only his 2nd "official" day... I sure broke him in!
This is my belly at 35 Wks. I am now 37 wks. We have had a few scares lately. I went in for a check up when I was 35 wks and my belly was only measuring 30-31 wks so my OB was a little worried little girl wasn't growing or something was going on with the placenta or the amount of amniotic fluid sooo We went in for an ultrasound that weds and everything was looking really good. she was weighing roughly around 5 lbs and 12 oz and had a ton ton of hair! the ultrasound tech was very impressed with the hair he could see. he just kept saying she has a ton of hair! Dr. Kyrimis looked over the ultrasound and was happy with how everything was looking. Phew! such a relief and nice to be able to see little girl again. This past monday I went in for another appointment and the Doc sent me straight to the hospital after taking my blood pressure (BP) and checking out my swollen cankles. My Bp was 155/90 and my swelling hadn't gone down a few nights in a row. She was worried I might develop preeclampsia so they ran a few tests at the hospital and got my BP down. They figured out that I could just lay on my left or right side and could lower/control it that way without any medications. When I left the hospital my BP was around 132/78 which was pretty normal for me. So I am now on strict bed rests (no work no play only bathroom privileges :( )until this little girl makes her debut. She wanted to get another ultrasound because my belly has only been measuring 35 wks the last 2 appointments so we got to see little girl again. The ultrasound still looked really good. They are worried because she is a little bit smaller (6lbs and 2 oz) so they are hoping they can get me to go a few more weeks as long as I stay on bed rest. It has been a crazy few days but I am so lucky to have Jake! He is understanding and totally what I need in a moment of pure panic. I am grateful for him. So if you need to find me I will be on my couch or in my bed. Just waiting around.....

I feel you! It requires so much motivation to blog doesn't it? I sit down and I can think of a million things I'd rather be doing. But I promised myself that I am going to be good now that this little girl will be here soon. I stink at keeping a journal and I sure as heck am not a scrapbooker. So blogging it shall be. Then I can get them printed into books and not have all the loose photos lying around. Anyway, keep up the blogging, especially when baby girl gets here. I'm gonna try hard too.
Yeah for an update! I had a late ultrasound with Bergen and they told me the further away in each direction from 20 weeks you get....the less accurate the weight estimates are. They were totally off on Bergen...like by pounds! I hope you have that sweet girl soon so I can hold her....if I survive the drive that is. I'm excited for you!
I stumbled upon your blog. Congrats on becoming a new mommy! I just started a new blog for inspired childhood/ motherhood.

I'm glad baby girl is doing good, but bed rest totally sucks. If you need anything at all...chocolate, soda, pickles and ice cream, ANYTHING, please let me know! I can't wait for her to get here so I can meet her!
You are so cute pregnant! Sorry about the best rest, I was on it for a whole 2 days and it was hard. My mom was here and wouldn't let me get up for anything. But its best for baby! And they were predicting Hudson as about 8 lbs from an ultrasound when I was in labor and he was 9lbs 2 oz so it can be really off.
Molly I know how you feel, I also know how well your mom will take care of you like she did for me 4 times. I hope you are staying down, I know it is not fun but rest while you can. We love you and can't wait to see that baby.
