Lee's Ferry

This last weekend Jake and I went to Lee's Ferry with Jake's Family. It was a lot of fun. The first stop we made was at this Bridge to cross the start of the Grand Canyon. It is amazing how HUGE the Grand Canyon really is.

This was our "camp" for the weekend. It was pretty 1970's but was very comfortable and spacious. We played alot of card games and Chels and Kaleb brought halo so we were very well entertained after a day of fishing.

So, this sign is of a store we stopped at on the side of the road to look at jewerly. haha this signed cracked me up...and what makes it even funnier is that the guy inside the store was not even an indian. haha. it still cracks me up.

All of us girls taking a picture outside a humongus rock by the house. Hanging out with all the girls is sooo much fun. They are the funniest girls ever. I am so grateful to have another fantastic family, I really got SO lucky.

Jake Fishing on the first day. Unfortunatly we didn't catch any fish. This was our first day of fishing and alot of tour boats were going by so I just sat and read a book while everyone fished. The next day we went to this beautiful place in the canyon that looked like a beach! it was so awesome. the water was FREEZING and Marissa and I had a contest to see who could stay in the water the longest. We were doing good then Kim came in and tried dunking us. It was hilarious.

From Lee's Ferry we went to the Grand Canyon, Tyanne was dying to go and we figured we didn't have much to do and everyone told us it was about 70 miles away. about 1 hr and 45 Mins later we arrived at the Grand Canyon

Saturday before we went fishing for the day, we headed for Page and It was an awesome view. This is a picture of Jake and I and Kaleb and Chelsea on top of this mountain road. There are a ton of canyons inside other canyons which blew me away!

All in all it was a fantastic trip and I can't wait for the next one!
