M.I.A

It's been a very long time since I've posted anything. I'm a Lameo. I admit it. To start off I would like to say my kids did AMAZING in their primary program. They were so fantastic I was so very proud of them. It seems around the Holidays it just goes crazy, and we are trying to work enough etc now that I have two weeks off from work I might be able to post a few things, but I'm not promising anything. Thanksgiving came and went. We had 3 thanksgiving dinners to go too. One with Jake's family and two for my family. It was a lot of fun.

Jake's Grandma passed away on December 3rd. It was hard. She was the only Grandma Jake has known. What doesn't make you stronger....

I am glad it's Christmas Time. It is one of my favorite time of the year. I love the cold (yes call me crazy) but I like be bundled up. I love having a warm fire in our house and making hot chocolate off of it. Jake loves it because he can go hunting with both our dads. Hopefully this year he can get a bobcat...ha. Most of all I love the Christmas lights and decorations. We didn't go all out decorating our house this year because of trying to find time to do it and also a bummer because of lame winds the luminaries were cancelled which was kind of a bummer. I complain about it, but secretly I think it's pretty sweet and it's cool we get to be apart of a "Snowflake" tradition. (Did I use those quotes in the right place Bethany???? hahaha). Here are a few pictures of our tree and our cute stockings..with one added for Callie.

Yes it's fake. I totally caved and I don't know if I could go back to a real one...
Callie has been tryin to get her stocking down...not till Christmas. She also got a laser light for Christmas. Fantastic for days we don't go on walks....almost every day...horrible i know.
Jake all decked out in his camo.
Some really cute pictures of the escape artist Callie.
This is Kaleb, Snuffy and Jake. They took this picture last year and were trying too see who could grow the sweetest beard. I think this picture is hillarious.
we just got this picture from a couple in Jd's mission. It was also very cute so I had to post it. It is nice to know that he is getting taken care of. Jd is doing really well and we love hearing from him and can't wait to TALK to him on Christmas. He only has 10 mths to go. We are worried he won't wanna come home.
One thing I'm loving about the Holidays is all our family getting together. I have been having fun with Lindsey and Kodi being home, and getting to go see Britt, Nate and Brooke today!!!
We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!!

ITS ABOUT BLASTED TIME YOU POSTED SOME NEW PICS!! Geeze I have been waiting on the edge of my seat! Jake is a mountain man. Really I had to double take to make sure the man in the pics wasn't lloyd. The camo pics remind me of jon too. Haha oh man we need to drop our husbands off in a helicopter in the middle of the denali mountains with just a pocket knife and they would make it out just fine. Burley men. I love you. Merry Christmas lovey.
